OJSC MIC Sheksna-M has been in insurance business on the Russian market since 1995. MIC Sheksna-M is the largest insurance company in Vologda Region in terms of the total number of insurance transactions with general public. It also holds the dominating position among medical insurance companies of the North West of Russia and is a permanent member of the leading group of the major Russian medical insurers (this information is provided by Expert RA, RosBusinessConsulting, Interfax).
The total number of persons that placed their compulsory and voluntary medical insurance (CMI and VMI) with OJSC MIC Sheksna-M in 2008 amounted to 966,100 and 183,700 individuals respectively.
The total amount of insurance premium in 2008 is RUR 4,237,842,311, including:
