OJSC Sheksna (currently referred to as OJSC SOGAZ-SHEKSNA) has been in insurance business on the Russian market since July 21, 1994 and operates in Cherepovets, Vologda Region.
The company’s main lines of business are personal insurance, property insurance, automotive insurance, liability insurance and motor third-party liability insurance.
OJSC IC Sheksna was one of the first companies to be awarded A+ stability rating by the rating agency Expert RA. The rating was confirmed in November, 2008.
The total amount of IC SHEKSNA’s insurance premium for the 1st quarter of 2009 equaled RUR 806.6 million, which exceeds the same index of the 1st quarter of 2008 by 24% (RUR 649 million). In May, 2009 OJSC IC Sheksna joined SOGAZ Insurance Group as one of its members.
In July, 2009 OJSC IC Sheksna was renamed and is now referred to as OJSC Insurance company SOGAZ-Sheksna.
