SOGAZ Holds Practical Science Conference on ‘Topical Issues in Pediatrics’ in Petrozavodsk
A practical science conference entitled Topical Issues in Pediatrics was held in Petrozavodsk as part of an educational program for members of the medical community in the regions of the Russian Federation. The program is being carried out by the medical insurance company Gazprommedstrakh, part of the SOGAZ Insurance Group.
SOGAZ Bank Guarantees Accepted by Russian Customs Authorities
SOGAZ Insurance Group has been included in the list of insurers whose bank guarantees can be accepted by the customs authorities of the Russian Federation. This decision was adopted by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, Order No 430, “On Approval of the Register of Banks and Other Credit Organisations”, of 4 April 2007.
SOGAZ Insures Employees of OJSC Priargunskoye Mining and Chemical Production Association
Two companies of the SOGAZ Insurance Group have concluded a contract to provide medical insurance for employees of OJSC Priargunskoye Mining and Chemical Production Association (Chita region). The medical insurance company Gazprommedstrakhand the insurance company OJSC SOGAZ concluded contracts with the enterprise to provide compulsory medical insurance and voluntary medical insurance respectively. The total number of policyholders for each contract stands at more than 12,000 people. Priargunskoye Mining and Chemical Production Association employees will enjoy a range of insurance benefits provided by the SOGAZ Insurance Group.
SOGAZ-Life Ltd insurance policies yield 13.13% per annum
The Insurance company SOGAZ-Life Ltd, part of the SOGAZ Insurance Group, has compiled its financial report for 2006. Over the last calendar year, the level of profitability on the additional investment revenue brought in by life insurance contracts that provide for the policyholder’s participation in the insurer’s investment revenue was rated at 13.13% per annum.

SOGAZ Insurance Group has concluded a liability insurance contract for officials and management bodies at OJSC Obyedinyonnye Mashinostroitelnye Zavody. In accordance with the terms of the contract, SOGAZ will protect the material interests of the Policyholder Company and its officials in connection with the Company’s duty to compensate third persons in the event of unintentional errors in the course of its management.

SOGAZ to Insure Unemployed in Astrakhan Region
The medical insurance company Gazprommedstrakh, part of the SOGAZInsurance Group, has been declared the winner of the tender held to select a medical insurance organisation that will implement the compulsory medical insurance (CMI) program for the unemployed population of the Astrakhan Region in 2007.In accordance with the results of the tender, Gazprommedstrakh will provide insurance for 225,000 unemployed citizens in the Volodarsky district, Kamyzyak district, Yenotayevka district, Liman district, Kharabali district, and Krasny Yar district, Astrakhan region; the town of Znamensk (closed administrative-territorial entity), and the Kirovsky district of Astrakhan City.
