09 February 2007 SOGAZ Wins Tender to Conclude Contracts for Insurance of Gazprom’s Property

The SOGAZ Insurance Group has been declared the winner of the tender for the right to conclude contracts for the insurance of property belonging to OJSC Gazprom, its subsidiary companies and their employees for the period 2007-2011. The subsidiary companies are Astrakhangazprom Ltd, Bashtransgaz Ltd, Volgogradtransgaz Ltd, Volgotransgaz Ltd, Gazprom Export Ltd, Kavkaztransgaz Ltd, Kaspiiskgazprom Ltd, Kubangazprom Ltd, Lentransgaz Ltd, Mezhregiongaz Ltd, Mostransgaz Ltd, Nadymgazprom Ltd, Noyabrskgazdobycha Ltd, Orenburggazprom Ltd, Permtransgaz Ltd, Samaratransgaz Ltd, Severgazprom Ltd, Surgutgazprom Ltd, Tattransgaz Ltd, Tomsktransgaz Ltd, Tyumentransgaz Ltd, Uraltransgaz Ltd., Urengoigazprom Ltd, Yugtransgaz Ltd, Yamburggazdobycha Ltd.

Among the competitors were Russia’s largest insurers. In making its final decision, the tender committee took into account both the insurance terms offered, and the qualifications of the respective participants.

The companies were rated based on a 10-point system. Ultimately, the SOGAZInsurance Groupscored 9.9 out of 10, taking first place.
