The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan has included SOGAZ into the Register of Foreign Insurers, Reinsurers and Foreign Insurance Brokers. The register has been created to comply with the requirements of the Insurance Operations Act, effective on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It includes top-rated foreign insurance, reinsurance companies and brokers offering their services to Azerbaijani insurers for completing insurance and reinsurance operations.

SOGAZ’s primary mission on the Azerbaijani market is to promote its services that cover reinsurance of oil-and-gas enterprises, cargo forwarding, oil terminals, etc.

It is worth mentioning that reinsurance operations on the territory of Azerbaijan can be performed only by the foreign companies accredited by the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
