The Perm Branch of SOGAZ Insurance Group has signed a number of insurance contracts with OJSC Mineral Fertilizers (Perm), one of the leading chemical companies in Russia.

In conformity with the terms and conditions of the contracts, throughout the year SOGAZ will insure machines and devices used in the production activity of OJSC Mineral Fertilizers against breakage. Besides, it will provide insurance for all the company’s property. Property will be also insured against damage caused by fire, water, electricity, faults of personnel, and negligent acts of third parties.

Besides, SOGAS will insure civil liability of the company for harm caused to life, health or property of third parties and environment due to accidents at hazardous industrial facilities of OJSC Mineral Fertilizers.

The total limit of the insurer’s liability amounts to more than RUB 25 billion.

OJSC Mineral Fertilizers, founded in 1981, is one of the biggest manufacturers of nitrogen fertilizers in the Urals and Western Siberia. The Company manufactures high-performance nitrogen fertilizers such as liquid synthetic ammonia and prilled carbamide that are sold both in Russia and abroad.
